This collaboration platform was playfully put together to visualise the unique responses that our students have adopted through their creative practices. Each evolved and developed largely in isolation throughout the past year, away from the studio and with limited access to workshops. Yet, one commonality amongst all the practices has emerged – that which exists in relationships. Relationships to their surroundings, relationships to objects and to making, relationship to others around and relationship with themselves through enhanced reflective practice.

This body of work explores these notions from various perspectives, with each student adopting the prefix Re- and completing the word from a unique perspective with relation to their practice. The prefix Re- is therefore used here as a curation tool to link practices up, to join ideas together and stitch new stories and understandings of what contemporary Textiles practices are.
