The moments of solitary contemplation and wandering make me spiritually homeless, and I’ve been trying to reconnect to my hometown, to find a sense of belonging and peace in my heart. This project is about nostalgia, and my journey away from home. I looked back at those places I’ve been living in, and trying to harbor that feelings of familiarity and safety on my way to unknown places.

Re-value//

The material for this project is sustainable. The tassels are made of reclaimed household fabric scraps I found in thrift stores and off-cuts bin in fashion studio. I also collect damaged donations that can’t be sold from charity stories. It’s a mix of fabrics and colours, and I’ve been trying to find beauty in old and broken things and wastes.
