This Body of work is a collection of the evidence from a process lead practice. They are all artefacts, throwaways, experiments, pieces, and by-products from a broader pursuit to visualise the relationship between purpose and process.

Through working in an intuitive and reactionary way, responding to each material’s will, a function is forced onto these objects in an aim to question and comment on the role of functionality within art and design.

These objects are united by a language that is a by-product of my practice, influenced by interests in the aesthetics of labour, manufacturing cost, effort, time and a Northern routed attitude to craft, production, necessity, and value.
