Shuning Jiang (b. 1996) is a multimedia designer and multidisciplinary artist currently based in London and Shanghai.
She expands her interest in the practice of everyday life, exploring the abstract relationship and the narrative of objects.

My research sits on the composite idea of object and materiality, exploring the narrative behind them.
In our everyday life, the imagination of daily objects seems to be limited in some ways. However, I think we should be critical in interpreting its meaning and value. This is a series of found objects from different sources, they are used as another function beyond their nature unconsciously or accidentally. I try to disassemble the digital images of the objects into different parts, in order to form narratives of different dimensions.
