Shang Dai is a 3D animator, visual artist and filmmaker, maybe.

He enjoys digital technology, critical think, and experimental experiences, and applies a cinematography visual language to communicate and expose core themes of Dadaism and the search for spiritual and ideology innovation amid the contradictions of modernity surrealism.

After finishing his BA in Visual Communication at LCC he moved his creative focus to digital short film and storytelling, exploring how to use platforms such as Realtime, Raytracing, VR, AI to speed up the production of animation and game.

Most of his works are seen as a deconstruction of the symbolic desire in surrealism, and attempt to visualize the connection between instinct and subconsciousness through emerging technology.


From different perspectives, this short film narrates the impact of some of the rumors around in the early stages of the Coronavirus pandemic. Focusing on responses such as fear of unknown diseases, care for loved ones, and loneliness.
