As an animator, I like to use different materials to create the background and characters. Meanwhile, I write poems. Sometimes I use these poems in my film.

To me, the most important is to use the moving picture to convey special feelings for the audience.

The Dragon Head Tree — Director: Jiaqi Wang Voice Actor: Margret Ashley Composer: Yin Lu Sound Designer: Zhiyi Liu Supported by: Passion Pictures

Synopsis

This film is a fake documentary animation about a dragon. It's about how she was caught and eaten. She was a magical creature from the ideal world. After she died, she becomes a symbol for people.

The Aim

The last dragon was killed by people. It symbolizes the distinction of the dragon species. In the film, dragons do not just look like a long-shaped animal: it was also growing from a cell to a birdlike creature and then to the shape of the dragon. I show this kind of transformation at the beginning of the film. The aim is to encourage people think about other species in the world. We are killing these species and think less about the fact that we have been living together with them for thousands of years. I wish I could arouse a feeling of sorrow in audience's hearts by making this animation.

Also, this film is about a relationship between people and the ideal world. People killed the last dragon in the world and eat it because they want to get closer to this ideal world. But on the contrary, people are rejecting this creature and push the ideal world away. I want to show the contradictions in this kind of action.
