Hyunwoo Lee

Hyunwoo Lee has focused on understanding the fundamental parts of the product and proposing designs through correct interpretation. In particular, he pays attention to what interactions occur between people and products. This makes it possible to understand the purpose of a particular product's existence and is the most important context in predicting the product's life and future.

The new normal by the global pandemic was that most people were forced to work in minimal spaces. Consequently, our senses have become lethargic and pass the day through the ambiguity of time boundaries. It is caused by a lack of adequate stimulation with perception caused by a lack of physical exposure from the natural environment.

This project is designed to provide a unique stimulus to people in the above situation and attract natural light to have a moment of consciousness.

It is caused by a lack of adequate stimulation with perception caused by a lack of physical exposure from the natural environment.

This product is designed to provide a unique stimulus to people in the above situation and attract natural light to have a moment of consciousness. When the sunlight is reflected in the mirrors at a specific time, beautiful light appears in the space. It plays a role in reminding us of the daily life we have forgotten for a while. It is the key to awaken the unconscious moment with the light of nature and the present by attracting natural light due to the conditions of the weather, not an artificial one.

This object consists of frames with adjustable angles, mirrors reflecting and transmitting sunlight, and various lens modules that can adjust the intensity and range of light to a specific space.

The new disease that is prevalent around the world today has changed many of our lives. Previously natural activities are being restricted, which provided an opportunity to rethink the value of fundamental life and the trivial everyday lives. At the heart of it is a "house" and it is growing as a new form of the boundary being restricted and an opportunity to create value on its own within the space. This shows that most people are shifting away from the principals who used to consume services from the outside, and to those who directly solve as many things as possible at home.

Suddenly, we spent most of our time in a particular space called home, and we began to recap new patterns and rules for what was happening inside the house. However, most of the things that come to mind when we think of "housework" must be done, but they are troublesome, extremely routine and repetitive, and the value is more of a consumer image than productive. And it is naturally dismissed as a minor act of subconsciousness rather than recognizing its value.
