The research starts from the people’s belongingness when they live in the city, which is relevant to their memories connected to the outside world.
With the development of technology, the ways that people save the memories are changed from physical objects to digital carriers in their daily life. Based on current situation, memories are more like digital pixels shuttling through the virtual world.
In the project, I want to create a “landing and recovering space” for people and their drifting memories. It is is a “physical social media” that provide recovery methods to lost belongingness, create a public community and make generation communication.
So it is a retail shop where people could buy different types of digital memories. Also it is a repair space to help people have their broken devices repaired.
