I am a textile designer working with digital embroidery and hand embroidery. I am based in China and London. My high school was in Canada, but after I finished my studies I decided firmly that I wanted to study fashion in London. I graduated from London College of Fashion in 2018, majoring in embroidered textiles.

RE-WORD // Pass through the World
Like a transient passenger in the mundane world. The inspiration comes from London and Hangzhou, researching the historical architecture in these two cities, looking out of the window to see the landscape of Chinese gardens and structural relationships in the view from the window. Combining the relationship between organic forms from nature and the linear qualities of the architecture. I work with screen printing and 3D embroidery. Flowers are an important part of Chinese landscape architecture, and each flower has its own meaning, like bamboo which represents the character of perseverance and tenacity. The context of this project is Fashion, especially Fashion Accessories. Combining my experiences of living in London and HangZhou, I want to bring together an Eastern sense of perspective with Western forms of expression.
