ADS5: The Universal Campus

My project is a library, which mainly serves for the students. It located in the northeast corner of the campus. The building consist of 6 floors with a total area of 6850 square meters. The ground floor of the building is totally opened to provide excellent public space for the surrounding area and the main function starts from the first floor.

Compared with the traditional campus library and the public library with complex functions, it can fulfill the needs of students better owing to its unique functional layout. The layout of library is organized according to the process of making project, including gathering, communication, getting inspiration, researching resource, making project and presenting. The interior space is also designed in a more organic and natural way to provide a relaxing and comfortable environment.

Through the improvement of traditional library form, I hope and I believe the library could be connected to students closer and be used as an integral part of studying and researching to sever better for our campus.
