Biophilic Space stresses how to relieve the oppression that China's metropolis expansion and development has brought to young urban workers by redesigning our daily mobilities.

This project stemmed from my thinking about the different living experiences I had in London and Beijing. The concrete forest in Beijing brings people depression and lack of emotion while walking through the green spaces and gentle buildings all over London give us joy and relaxation.

From the perspective of architecture and landscape, the difference between Beijing and London lies in the use of biophilic design.

To give people a space to breathe and prepare, I referenced the layout of the traditional Chinese hallway and combined it with the Chinese garden art, to create a vehicle as a transitional space for people when they shuttle in the city.

The vehicle has a small footprint but relatively high top to easily travel in congested cities, meanwhile it also provides users with sufficient space.
