My Dear Strati,
In the dark I thought I saw.... I wasn’t sure what I saw... could it really be a small river formation... or a tree... water veins or tree branches to an origin just like the human mind... the Self through time, space and experience... every branch a meaning... a run off from the general... a personal journey and an artefact embedded in the memory of our unconscious sands... building blocks of what and who we really are... an amalgamation of stored joy, pain, fear, angst, needs and desires... secret chambers of unrestricted unfiltered selves... that never make it to the ocean... and here the remaining stagnant waters with a now outward flow... civilisation keeps these small pools at a standstill... collections... only to make the water undrinkable.... what I see is a river and a tree... and I allow the flowing to the ocean as my own catharsis... my world is not affixed but an ebb and flow... between us all.... so in the dark I see what I must.... I trust my vision… not as much… and my certainty even less... I see more than just the image... I see all of myself
I love you,
Your dad.
