Interior Behaviours

This year’s theme is Life and Death set in the context of Dungeness, Britain’s only desert. The students have explored this theme in terms of skin, obsolescence, breathing and emergency. Their individual thesis topics range from grieving to the melancholy seaside. Each student chose a site and developed their strategy and concept using a wide variety of vehicles to communicate the topic. Emphasis is placed on alternative thinking and concept building allowing the students to own and author each level of detail from the big idea right down to the detail and also how they might write about their work and visually communicate this.
