Reciprocity and Mutuality in the Biosphere

Mutuality in the Biosphere event brings together information experience design students' final projects that invite alternative ways of thinking and living with other-than-human species. We challenge what it means to be human and explore ways of creating mutual spaces with other species. We seek to revive reciprocity, and we believe that through reconnection with non-humans, we might reach a kinship within human society.

The event consists of two parts: a panel discussion and a workshop. During the panel discussion we will share stories about the process of creating work with or for other-than-human species. During the experimental workshop, the participants are prompted with interspecies exercises that challenge their perspective and understanding of other species. The event aims to create a space to share ideas, experiences and inspire one another.
