A Talk by Dr Federico Campagna

Games have long been powerful philosophical tools. Through games, we can experiment not only with alternative scenarios, but also with the very process through which we endow ourselves with a meaningful “World” where we can live. In this talk, Federico Campagna will explore the deep relationship connecting game design and everyday world-building. Drawing from metaphysics, video game design and cultural studies, Campagna will suggest how the creation of ludic environments can be re-addressed, towards the imagination of alternative ways of structuring our very notion of what is reality.
