Magic Seekers: ¿Comes o te nutres?

Sunday 27 June 10:00 (GMT +0)

School of Arts & HumanitiesSculpture (MA)

(recorded) (subtitled, original Spanish version)

A workshop with Araceli Castro Rosas who, drawing on her 40 years of experience in the field of vegetarianism, presents her thoughts and recipes using Nopal, also known as "prickly pear cactus", a common ingredient in Mexican cuisine.

'Let us beautify and ennoble with a grand carnal dream: a collaborative safe-space' is a series of events organised by students of the MA Sculpture programme and curated by Araceli Gómez Castro.

These events will take place on the RCA2021 Platform (via ) and at "Proxy", the physical MA Sculpture Degree Show at Cromwell Place, London.

Those invited by Araceli to take part in the project come from inter disciplinary backgrounds but she has chosen to bind them under a single moniker - Magic Seekers, which she defines as a vehement and vertiginous person, deeply politicized and at the same time committed to their personal realization processes. Each collaborator is welcome to use the space as they please, creating dialogue using Aracelis research, whilst having fun and exploring their own practices.
