Decolonising and Diaspora

The undoing of colonialism and the experience of those displaced by it has increasingly become a point of action and discussion for many institutions and the individuals within them. The term ‘Decolonising’ is one that is often either misunderstood, used as a metaphor or co-opted as a banner term for anti-racist action but which has a very specific aim of freeing minds from colonial ideology through re-assessing accepted structures such as curriculums and archives. In this Collection we present students embedded in this discourse and explorations of diasporic identity.
